DESCRIPTION
 
This wireless CarPlay/Android Auto interface is a new product for 2019, which can be connected via Bluetooth or the USB port included in the kit, so you can still charge your phone or update software via the USB port when you need it. It adds full CarPlay functionality to your vehicle and it has a built-in camera interface, so you can add on aftermarket cameras. Please note, this will only fit cars equipped with 3G MMI, not the earlier 2G system.

Frequently Asked Questions
 
1. Will this fit cars equipped with 2G MMI?
No, this kit will only fit cars equipped with 3G MMI (mid 2009 onwards) – If unsure please send us a photo of the ‘version information’ screen on your Audi prior to purchase so we can verify fitment.
2. My A6 has the black/red mono screen fitted, will this kit fit?
No, this kit doesn’t fit cars that have the basic display, a factory fitted colour MMI screen is required to work.
3. My car has AMI (Audi Music Interface). Will this fit my car?
Yes, we include the AMI cable for Audio.
4. Will I have to change my original car screen or make wiring modifications?
This kit allows you to retain the factory fitted display screen in your car, and all wiring is plug and play, so no cutting wires etc.
5. Will sound come out of my car stereo?
Yes, this unit will allow music playback, and all sounds to be emitted through the car speakers, simply switch the Audi radio to ‘Aux’ mode for playback.
6. Does this fit left-hand drive cars?
Yes, it fits left-hand drive and right-hand drive models.
 
Please note – an Apple iPhone is required for Apple CarPlay functionality. Wireless Android Auto is only supported by certain Android phone models.
